Refund policy

Return and Refund Policy Effective as of January 31, 2026. 

By visiting, using, or placing an order on this site, you agree to the Return and Refund Policy as described below:

TimeClad provides detailed sizing charts that illustrate body dimensions and garment measurements to help customers purchase the correct size the first time and eliminate the hassle of returning or exchanging an item. 

Still, we understand that sometimes things don’t fit right – and we’re here to help you complete your return or exchange.  We have a 30-day return policy, which means unworn merchandise may be returned within 30 days of the date your item was delivered.

Damaged Items and Other Issues

Please inspect your order upon receipt and contact us immediately if the item is defective, damaged or if you receive the wrong item, so that we can evaluate the issue and make it right.

Returns & Refunds

To be eligible for a return, your item must be:

  • Unworn, unused and include all tags, parts and accessories
  • In its original packaging and in sellable condition
  • Mailed with the packing slip or order confirmation email

Processing Your Return

To start a return, please either go to your account and select the option to request a refund, or contact us at info@timeclad.com. You will need to provide the following information: 1) Name, 2) Order Number, 3) Your zip code, OR phone number OR email address. 

For customers located in the 48 contiguous United States, if your return is accepted, we’ll send you a return shipping label, as well as instructions on how and where to send your package.  If your order needs to be returned in multiple packages, you will receive a shipping label for each one. You will be responsible for paying the shipping cost to return an order.  Returns should be sent to the following address: TimeClad Clothing, 9555 Kings Charter Drive, Ashland, VA 23005.

Customers located in Alaska, Hawaii, and US Territories will be responsible for paying ALL return shipping charges and any associated fees.

Items sent back to us without first requesting a return will not be eligible for a refund.

We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, the original form of payment will be refunded within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

If more than 15 business days have passed since we’ve approved your return, please contact us at info@timeclad.com.

Please understand that we may deny any returns that do not comply with this policy.  If 30 days have passed since you received your item, or your item is worn, we are unable to provide a refund, exchange or store credit. You can always contact us for any return question at info@timeclad.com.

Refunds

Once your refund is approved, your method of payment will be credited back for the amount of purchase, including all tax paid.  If you are returning an item for which you paid special shipping and handling fees, those charges are not able to be refunded. 

Please allow our returns team 5-7 business days to inspect and process your item. Refunds may take an additional 5-7 business days to appear on your statement. All refunds will be processed to the original form of payment.

Steps to Return Merchandise and Receive Refund

In keeping with the policies set out here, please follow the following steps to return an item and receive a refund:

  1. Go to your account.  Click on the item you wish to return. 
  2. After reviewing the amount to be refunded to you, click the “Request Return” button. A message will be sent to our team to review the request.  If approved, a return shipping label will be emailed to you.
  3. Alternatively, you may end an email to info@timeclad.com to initiate a return. You will need to provide the following information: 1) Order Number, 2) Your zip code, OR phone number OR email address. 
  4. If your return is approved, a mailing label will be sent via email to you.  The cost of this label will be deducted from the refund you receive, along with the original cost to ship the item to you.
  5. Package the item securely and use clear packing tape to affix the label to the package (or ask a carrier representative at the mailing location to affix the label for you).  If your item was received in a poly mailer, please pack your item in that same mailer and use the second adhesive closure.  If your item was received in a box, you may use that same container if it remains viable for mailing. If your packaging is damaged, please use alternative packaging of similar quality.
  6. The package must be mailed and postmarked within 30 days of the date the item was delivered to you.
  7. When your return is received by TimeClad, a refund will be issued to your original form of payment for:  1) Product price and 2) Sales Tax.  Shipping costs are not refundable.  Your refund will be less than your original purchase price because the refund amount will deduct the cost of original shipping and return shipping. 

If there are any issues with your original form of payment, such as the card being expired or canceled, then we will contact you to determine the best way to return your funds.

Exchanges

If you request an exchange, you may exchange one item for another item of equal or lesser price.  You are responsible for paying all shipping costs. Availability of your choice for an exchange is not guaranteed and depends on the level of inventory when your request is made. Once the item is exchanged, the transaction is final. 

Gift Returns

If you are returning TimeClad merchandise that you received as a gift, your item may be exchanged for another eligible item or returned for store credit.  You will need to provide the order number, the gifter’s full name, email address or phone number. The item must be unworn, undamaged and be returned in its original packaging.

Sale or Final Sale Items

All items purchased “On Sale” or items marked “Final Sale” are not eligible for returns or exchanges due to the significant price reduction.

Refused Orders

If a shipped order is refused by the customer, the amount credited back to the original form of payment will be the cost of the product plus sales tax minus the original shipping cost, the cost of return shipping, and a 15% restocking fee when the item is returned to us.

Exchange Only Policy

Any item purchased using a discount code marked “Exchange Only” are eligible for exchange only or store credit. No refunds will be issued on these items.
